Recent Apple news
At the Apple World Wide Developers’ Conference in June of this year Apple released details of the upcoming release of iOS 5. For those of you who don’t know iOS is the software system that runs on iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. According to Apple iOS 5 will be released sometime in the North American Fall. Well as all North Americans know after Labour Day (this year it was September 5) it is officially Fall. As usual the rumour mill has been quite active and along with iOS 5 we will also be seeing a revamped iPhone. This phone has been dubbed the ‘iPhone 5’. All indications point to a launch sometime after the second week in October but as we all know Apple will keep to its own internal timetable. So watch for an announcement in the next couple of weeks.
