Which Macs should you buy right now?

With all current Macs using the latest-and-greatest M4 processors (except the M3 Ultra Mac Studio), it’s a great time to upgrade. Whether you are still using an Intel Mac and want to discover the power and battery efficiency of Apple Silicon, or have an M1 Mac that you are out-growing, the current crop of Macs are all great choices with tons of processing power and fantastic battery life.

M4 MacBook Air: the recently released M4 version of the MacBook Air is a great upgrade. 20% faster than the M3 model and with the ability to run two external displays and an upgraded 12MP Centre Stage camera, MacBook Air has never been a better Mac laptop for nearly everyone. M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pros: The M4 variants of 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pros are fantastic laptops and it is the perfect time to buy these. With M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max processors available, and up to 128GB RAM and 8TB SSD there is an M4 MacBook Pro to suit any workflow, no matter how demanding.

M4 24 inch iMac: This is a recent release, so it is a very good time to upgrade to an M4 24 inch iMac. M4 iMac can now be upgraded to 32GB RAM, so can be used in more demanding roles than the previous versions. Apple tweaked the iMac colours in this release, making them more vibrant. Available in blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, green and silver.

M4 Max and M3 Ultra Mac Studios: Apple recently upgraded the Mac Studio to M4 Max and M3 Ultra processors. These are very potent Macs, perfect for heavy hitters in design, photography or architecture. So if you need the power of a Mac Studio, it’s a perfect time to buy.

M4 and M4 Pro Mac mini: Apple completely redesigned the Mac mini for its latest update, making it considerably smaller. It now looks like a baby Mac Studio - which is largely what it is. The M4 or M4 Pro Mac mini is a great little powerhouse for mid-level business, design, architecture and photography users and great value for the power it has - particularly in the M4 Pro version. So it is the perfect time to purchase M4 and M4 Pro Mac mini.
